We celebrate International Women's Day by supporting the education of the young girls of the Stegi "Melissa".
This year we celebrate International Women's Day in the most meaningful way.
From the 8th to the 13th of March we offer € 0.20 from each of your orders at My Coffee Island APP + WEB, at the shelter of child and adolescent protection "Melissa".
"Melissa" is a big warm hug that hosts on its roof girls of different ages who need protection. "Melissa" takes care of all aspects of their daily lives and supports them until they gain their financial independence.
At Coffee Island we believe that the concept of specialty coffee is not limited to its unique taste characteristics, but is associated with the unique values that characterize a solidarity society. In it, the specialty community embraces the people in need and we, through our cooperation with "Melissa", contribute to the education and professional integration of the girls it hosts.
This year, International Women's Day, is an occasion to dream of a different world. A world without prejudices, stereotypes and discrimination. A world diverse, fair and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
