Coffee Island, on the occasion of this year's Giving Tuesday, stands with dedication and consistency on the side of Thessaly by supporting the work of the Aspres Petaloudes foundation. Staying focused to the values of solidarity and generosity, the company invites consumers to visit its stores on Tuesday, November 28th and tap at the Tap Me point, participating in an important effort. In particular, for every Tap Me made by those who visit the Coffee Island stores that day, the company will donate 0.10€ to support the work of the Aspres Petaloudes foundation. The same will apply to those who will place their order online through coffeeisland.gr.
Coffee Island systematically helps local communities throughout Greece, planning actions that enhance social well-being and improve the quality of life of the community. The company invites consumers to support its work, making a very simple and easy move! Through the MyCoffeeIsland application, the consumer can, every time he visits a store of the company, tap on the Tap me point and earn reward points. At the same time, however, it participates in the efforts to support organizations and structures of social cohesion that offer services to the local communities in which the chain operates. The more times they tap, the more they earn, while supporting Coffee Island's social work. YOU TAP, YOU DO GOOD! This is the first reward program that not only gives back to the customer but also to society. The support actions change every three months and are focused on satisfying needs that exist in local communities throughout Greece.
The choice to support Thessaly comes as a continuation of the support actions that the company has already carried out in the wider region. Specifically, Coffee Island, through the OUR GREECE Initiative and in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly, offered in September a number of products to cover
of the residents' feeding needs. At the same time, in October, the company, in collaboration with its local partner from Trikala, delivered clothing and school supplies to the victims, through the Trikala Red Cross.
